The AquaCat Marine Catalytic Converter embodies two unique features not found in traditional catalytic converters:

First, by connecting directly to the engine exhaust manifolds, and sharing the same water-cooling passages, the catalytic converter surface temperatures are kept below 98F (37C) during normal engine operation, allowing the converter to safely fit into tight spaces typical of inboard marine engine compartments. The AquaCat’s water-cooled passageways maintain consistent volume around the catalytic core, which ensures equitable distribution of cooling water.

Second, the unique housing design creates more complete burning of exhaust gasses than is possible
in traditional catalytic converter designs, resulting in significantly reduced emissions, less fuel consumption, and stronger engine performance.
